BarCamp / iPhoneDevCamp July 6-8

Anyone from the Triad (Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill is going?

BarCamp / iPhoneDevCamp July 6-8: “

Fresh off the iPhone launch comes iPhoneDevCamp, an unconference for iPhone web developers to discuss and develop web-based applications and optimize web sites for the now sold out iPhone. You don’t need an iPhone to attend, especially with tools like iPhoney which allows users to see how your web creations will look on iPhone.

Some of the iPhoneDevCamp sessions include:
* Presence and services like Twitter, Jaiku and Plazes, etc. Requested presenter: Stowe Boyd.
* Public data feeds and mashup sources
* Microformats
* OpenID
* Designing for mobile – small screens, narrowband
* Developing for Safari browers (CA: I will have some notes on bringing SynchroEdit from Firefox to Safari 3.0 that might be useful.)
* Made for Mobile: 20 do’s and 5′ don’ts (Keith Saft, Director of Mobile User Experience Design @ Yahoo!) — How to design a web application to work well on the go.

More sessions are expected during the event being that it’s an unconference where the attendees can create sessions while attending. To help you follow iPhoneDevCamp for those of you who are on the East Cost, you can keep up-to-date by adding iPhoneDevCamp as a friend on Twitter http://twitter.com/iPhoneDevCamp

Some of the organziers and planers of iPhoneDevCamp includes:
RavenZachary, whurley, and Chris Messina, Dominic Sagolla, Blake Burris, and Christopher Allen.
