It seems everybody is blogging about web predictions for 2007, most predictions are about Apple’s yet to be release phone and others are about what will be big for 2007. We’ll see at the end of next year who got it right. If you look at this year, you can easily say that youtube was an unexpected hit of 2006.

If you look at these predictions one common idea is that mobile social networking or anything that is mobile related will take off in 2007 and I agree!

Mobility is the next big wave, and I’m not talking about cellphones and ringtones, I’m talking about full computer features, multimedia, wi-fi calling, video conferencing and more. In 2007 we will see Google, RIM, and Apple battle Microsoft for mobile email services. We’ll see Apple take on the world with it’s phone and battle Palm, HTC and RIM for smartphone supremacy. Speaking of HTC, take a look at their 2007 phone line up hear, and I’m going out on a limb and say that palm will either fold, get bought out or come out with a super slim smartphone Treo 800 in q4 2007. So develop your projects for the phone guys, if you want to see it take off in 2007.
